If the client cancels the shoot within 7 days of the original scheduled date, any deposits will not be refunded if already paid or will still be payable if not yet paid.

For shoots cancelled prior to seven days of the original scheduled date, the full deposit will be refunded less any pre site survey fee if a physical site survey has been carried out. An administration fee of €75 plus VAT may also be deducted from the refundable amount where a form UF101 has already been submitted for permission to fly from the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority).

A form UF101 is submitted seeking permission when operating outside normal restrictions.

What we need from you?2018-12-29T14:37:07+00:00

The exact location of the shoot, proposed date and a brief containing as much background information as possible on what you want us to photograph and film and also the surrounding area and any risks that we may need to anticipate.

We can then do an initial office based online site survey to see if the shoot is possible and if there are any other factors, flight restrictions or permissions that need to be considered.

At this point, we shall decide whether a physical pre site inspection is required. Each job is unique with a mixture of external influences that can affect when and where we can film, but we plan ahead to decrease possible disruptions. (A additional site inspection fee may be required but we will advise before carrying out).

Will you fly over crowds of people?2018-12-14T18:02:28+00:00

We will not shoot directly over a crowd, but we can get great angle shots of crowds from safe distances. If we have a small amount of people which are directly under our control and have been briefed, we  may be to take shots with a closer range, safety is always our main priority. The pilot reserves discretion to adjust the flight lines for the shot to always take safety as the prime consideration.

Flight cancellations!2018-12-13T16:18:30+00:00

As well as not being able to operate in certain weather conditions, we may have to cancel flight due to unexpected circumstances out of our control.

An example of this may include where the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority) may impose a TRA on an area and temporary restrict operations. An example circumstance would be where an emergency aircraft maybe operating in the area at low altitudes.

In the rare instant that this may happen we will make every effort to accommodate at a future date.

What weather conditions can you operate in?2018-12-13T16:10:17+00:00

Clear, dry and calm conditions. Calm are preferable but drones can fly safely in moderate winds. If we can’t go ahead with a job on account of bad weather, we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Why is a pre site inspection required?2018-12-10T23:33:57+00:00

In certain circumstances, a pre site inspection may be required before a project is undertaken.

A pre site inspection is usually carried out to obtain information of possible risks and obstructions to flight. Once complete a further pre flight site inspection will also be carried out on the day of flight as per our operations manual.

Additional fee may apply when a pre site inspection is required.
